SUPER SHY SWEET & HANDSOME ‘RU’ NEEDS A FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME MEDIA, PA area <br/><br/>DOG/CAT/PEOPLE FRIENDLY Housebroken Crate-trained <br/><br/>Ru is an incredibly sweet and handsome lab mix boy who is around 7 years of age and weighs around 75 lbs. <br/><br/>Ru was adopted as a baby puppy and unfortunately his family didn’t have the time to socialize or exercise him properly and he spent a great deal of his life inside the home instead of getting out and about in the outside world. The result is that Ru is incredibly shy and feels most comfortable inside the home. He loves the couch ❤️ He’s been in a training program for several weeks now where he is gradually being exposed to the outside world and taking walks with other dogs, meeting new people. Initially he could be quite shut down when out and about but through walks in town with other dogs he’s definitely coming out of his shell. <br/><br/>Ru is a very sweet soul who desperately needs someone to give him a chance at a new life thru patience and TLC. He would do best with another dog in the home that he could bond with and learn the ropes from. Ru is great with cats which is a huge bonus. Ru would also do best in a home with a fenced yard. <br/><br/>Is there someone out there who can give him this chance he deserves? <br/><br/>More on Ru from the trainer: <br/><br/>From trainer- <br/><br/>I think Ru would do best in a home with a fenced in yard that offers him room to run. He bonds with his people and loves to be with them. Structure is important and allowing him time to decompress.<br/><br/>He loves to cuddle up on the couch and get loved up. He can be goofy and playful once he comes out of shell. He enjoys walks and being able to work off some energy. <br/><br/>He needs someone that will take time with him, take him places and show patience as he takes it all in. <br/><br/>He does well in a crate and it’s a good way for him to settle and spend time alone. <br/><br/>He is a handsome dog that would do well with a family and a yard to call his own. <br/><br/>Continued training will help him to slow his mind down and relax.
