"Pretty woman walking down the street...." I'm Roy Orbison, and I am looking for a beautiful gal (or family) to be mine. I am a 4.5-year-old, 60-ish-pound, beautiful Standard Poodle gent, and I am SO ready to start living the good life. I have already mastered house, crate and leash training, which is quite a feat as a dog who came from a breeding facility. Due to an accident, I lost a leg, but I have adjusted to being a tripod easily. Rugs and carpets help me not to slip on slick floors. I've learned to appreciate the company of a calm dog friend who can help me navigate this new world, although it's not a strict requirement. I've also become quite the feline aficionado, so if you have cats, that's no problem at all. I must admit, I tend to do better with women, and I appreciate a patient soul who understands that change can be a bit intimidating for me. There are moments when I feel a little down and need some encouragement to come out of my shell, but I'm eager to connect and share my affection. I've grown quite fond of my crate and will happily go inside when commanded but will need chew toys while I am in there. Lately I have been sleeping on a bed in my foster mom's room, and I really like that! I'm ready to bring some joy and companionship into your life – could you be the one to provide a forever home for a resilient guy like me?

My adoption fee is $150 and includes my spay/neuter, vaccinations, wellness exam, heartworm test, and microchip!
