Roxy's estimated birthdate: June 2024<br/><br/>Roxy is a beautiful and very sweet Kelpie/Shepherd mix who was surrendered just before Christmas (2025) after her owner died. Has mild energy. Very food motivated and knows basic commands. Good with other dogs after a slow introduction. Good with cats. Children 12 years old or older. Roxy's forever home is required to have a totally enclosed, physically fenced yard where she can run, play, and hang out with her people. She is spayed, vaccinations are up to date, microchipped, on heartworm preventative, and house and crate-trained. Roxy cannot wait to find a family who will show her how much fun life is and love her for the rest of her life. <br/><br/>All dogs we rescue stay with us until they find their forever homes. We do not do same-day adoptions. A home visit is required to ensure our dog is going to a safe environment and our dog gets along with your dog(s) and/or cat(s). We require all our dogs over the age of 1 year to attend 1 obedience class (6-week session) outside the home. You must live within 1 hour of Birmingham, MI, to adopt one of our dogs. No out-of-state or outside the U.S. adoptions or fosters.
