Roxy's Story
This is Roxy! She is a Corgi mix girl who is a faithful loyal companion. She is spayed up to date and micro chipped. We even did a recent blood work up to ensure she is healthy. By no fault of her own she is in need of a new home. She has a story that is unfortunately not all that unique to some dogs her age. She was a beloved family member... upon her original adoption from us.. she slept in her human parents bed, she was babysat on occasion by the grand parents. Had a kitty for a sister ... until her parents had children she was a family member. Having children is a wonderful thing! Roxy was a pup when she was originally adopted from us. She was originally in a home with kids cats and other dogs. We even still have her original posting and puppy pics. For some reason Roxy became ostracized from the family and no longer wanted.. Where she once was considered a family member she began living in the bathroom confined to a 12” x 17” crate with a hamster bottle for water access. This size crate is made for a 1-10lb puppy. We heard through the grapevine that Roxy's parents wanted to return her and we welcomed her back immediately!

Roxy would be great companion for a single person, a family, a senior citizen.. she really just wants to be loved. And just as she was when she was a pup... She’s still great with kids as she is in a foster home with a 4, 6 and 13 year old little girls. She LOVES children. She is good with other animals but quite content being the only dog as well. She just wants a human companion to love her? Who will give her the life she truly deserves? She is a good dog. ALWAYS HAS BEEN. She’s so grateful not to be be living in a crate nearly 24/7. She weighs 35lbs so a crate for a 10lb dog is unacceptable and honestly she doesn’t need it anyway! We vowed to Roxy that she will never have to go in a crate again. Please email us if you’d like to learn more about this sweet girl. She can jump in the car and go for a ride as well! She's not afraid of water as you can see by her pic. She has a lot of life and love to give some lucky human!
