Roxy's Story

ROXY
DOB: TBD

This is what Roxy's savior/foster has to say about her.
Roxy was found on Roxboro Street in Durham, NC. Very scared, she initially ran towards the park but with a little patience she finally came over and was picked up and put in the car so we could get her checked for a microchip. No chip found. We are unsure of her age but think she is young. However her being so underweight it is hard to tell. It seems likely that she has been trying to survive on the streets by eating trash or whatever she could find. She was wonderful when we gave her a bath, very easy going, although she didn't love having her nails trimmed but quietly endured. She settled quickly into her crate. Is very food/treat motivated (as you could imagine). She rides nicely in the car. Gets along with other dogs, is people friendly, approaching all to get pets and treats! She is cuddly, loves snuggling and wants to be where her people are (seeing as that's where the love, pets and treat originate! lol). She plays well with our high energy puppy but is mellower than he is and at a medium level energy (compared to him anyway!). She is not a barker. Not a picky eater. She is well behaved in stores, friendly and interested in her surroundings but listens. She is smart and wants to please. Roxy is housebroken, spayed, current on vaccinations, microchip and crate trained.

More information (and pictures) will be provided as we get it (them) so keep checking back to follow Roxy's amazing journey and recovery. We have no doubt that you will fall in love with Roxy just as we did!

If you think you can provide Roxy with the loving home she deserves, please send an email to PawPrintzRescue@gmail.com and request an application.

Adoption Fee: $200.00
Adoption Requirements: Application, Interview, Homecheck.

*Age is always a guess with rescue dogs but here at Paw Printz we believe everyone should have a birth day so when the vet guesses at their age, we work out what would be a good birthday for each dog and make it so!
