Roxy's adoption fee has been waived! We met Roxy after she was left on a porch, in a box with three siblings. Her three siblings have been adopted and now she deserves a home too, and is patiently waiting for her turn! Roxy is our little social butterfly! She loves people, kids, and other pups, and is always up for an adventure. She's young but potty and crate trained. She is smart and responds well to commands. Balls and rolling toys are her favorite!! A home with another dog is preferred, as she really loves a buddy and is fantastic with all dogs, but we will consider a home without a dog if we feel it's the right fit! **We are unable to respond to inquiries on PetFinder. People Helping Paws Dog Rescue's Adoption Policy

At the time of adoption, all of our dogs are spayed/neutered, vaccinated and heartworm tested as appropriate for age, given flea/tick and heartworm preventative treatment and micro-chipped. You must be 18+ to adopt and a Missouri resident. Check your HOA or lease for pet permissions. We do not adopt out dogs that will be living outside on a chain, in a fenced yard or in an outdoor kennel--that's why our foster volunteers work hard to crate and potty train our dogs so they can live inside as a part of your family! **Please note: PHPDR reserves the right to do home visits and vet checks on all dogs adopted through our organization.

Our mission is to reduce the number of dogs needlessly euthanized in Missouri by providing community support to help pets stay in loving homes and fostering hard-to-place breeds and/or medically needy dogs to prepare them for adoption into loving homes.
