Roxy's Story

Roxy is a radiant bundle of sunshine. This girl has the brightest spirit, the biggest heart, and so much love to give! She is a remarkable dog who has the incredible ability to make everyone around her smile simply by being herself.

Abandoned as a baby, and then almost euthanized in a shelter due to a lack of kennel space, one might think Roxy carries trauma, but she doesn’t. Roxy is super friendly, a social butterfly who adores attention. She is engaging, silly, loves to play, and will happily be your sidekick on any adventures.

Though she adores kids, very small children may not be the best fit, as Roxy does need continued training in some areas, namely not jumping up when excited, and loose leash skills. She is very smart, eager to learn, praise and food motivated, however, so training should not present much of a challenge.

Roxy has a softer side too. She is sweet, gentle, and loving. She will lean in for kisses and snuggle beside you. All she has ever really craved is that comfort, a kind person to show her that she is special, that she will be protected and loved and cherished for the rest of her life. I promise when she finds this, she will offer the same in return tenfold.
