Look at this gorgeous girl Roxy ! Roxy is a 5 year old , spayed American pit bull/Lab mix - She is not for the faint of heart . While she is gorgeous and can be a wonderful dog , she is 80 lbs of power ! She is looking for an owner with large, working breed experience, who will routinely exercise her daily , continue her training and respect her needs . Roxy has come leaps and bounds with her training over the last few months - but she will need structure and discipline to be a big part of her life - otherwise she could be a bit of a bull in a china shop !!!. Roxy must be the only pet in the house and it’s suggested no children under 12 . Roxy is 100% housebroken and completely non destructive. She was previously a house dog and appears to have been used for breeding. Roxy likes to play and once she trusts , she is happy to receive belly rubs, big hugs and kisses. Roxy shows no aggression to people , but she does have an independence about her. She will happily nap or chew a bone but she needs her exercise. Roxy came to us with zero leash skills and she is now excellent on a leash , but you must have good control of her due to her strength. If interested please come visit her or contact the shelter .
