Meet Roxy!<br/><br/>Roxy is a 4-year-old, 63-pound Hound mix with the cutest little stumpy legs, a gorgeous brindle coat, and a heart as sweet as they come.<br/><br/>Roxy joined the CARE family after we spotted her at Animal Control with her newborn puppies. She was an incredible mama and did a beautiful job raising her little family at the CARE Sanctuary. One by one, all of her puppies have found their perfect forever families-and now, it's Roxy's turn to shine!<br/><br/>Once Roxy feels comfortable and knows she is safe, her sweet and playful personality comes to life. She loves chewing on her Nylabones and playing with her canine companions at the CARE Sanctuary. She truly enjoys the company of other dogs and would love to have another canine friend in her forever home to help show her the ropes and boost her confidence.<br/><br/>Roxy can be shy in new situations and around unfamiliar people, so she will need a little extra patience, love, and reassurance while she adjusts to her new home. It seems humans haven't always been kind to this sweet little mama, and yelling or chaotic environments can be scary for her. A calm, peaceful home where she can decompress and learn that she is finally safe would be ideal.<br/><br/>And if you really want to win Roxy over?? Bring on the treats and canned food! This girl is definitely food motivated-and, if we're being honest, the way to any girl's heart!<br/><br/>Roxy has spent her time caring for everyone else.
