Roxie's Story

Meet Roxie! This sweet girl came to us in desperate need of veterinary care and TLC. In less than a week this girl is ready to shine. She is SWEET as can be. She does well with dogs, cats, and children. She is crate trained and house trained. She is well mannered in the house. Roxie is just under 9 years old and will be just over 50 lbs at a healthy weight. Roxie is ready to go for a walk around the block and take a nap on your couch.

Friends for Life Dog Rescue's Adoption Policy

Potential adopters can visit our website and fill out an adoption application. We then do a vet check and a phone call to them. They come and visit the dog they are interested in at the foster home. There are at least 3 visits with the potential adopters and depending on whether there are other dogs in the household there is more than one visit with said dogs. At least one of the visits is at the potential adopters home so that a home inspection can be done. We encourage walking the dog and play interaction. We talk with potential adopters about training and decompression. We also offer help after adoption with any issues that arise.
