Roxi's Story

Sweet Roxie was surrendered by her owner who could no longer care for her and has been here since 9/10/25 and is about 4 years old.
All summer her favorite thing to do was to just lay outside and soak up the sun, now with the colder weather she would prefer to stay indoors and enjoys snuggling in her blankets on her bed with some stuffies. She is generally a very quiet, calm and sweet lady!
The exception is rope toys. She LOVES rope toys and will play forever with one! She is really just the sweetest calm dog so if your looking for an old soul that is still young- she's your pup. She is quickly becoming a favorite at the shelter and she seems to do well with older children that have come to the shelter to give her pets and cookies for school projects.
She likes to meet all dogs when out an about just to greet them or play for short periods of time but in a home she likes to be the dominant dog as she becomes more comfortable so a male submissive dog or no other dog would be best. She does not like cats.
Roxi is becoming very depressed at the shelter and would love to either be fostered or adopted soon.
