ROXANNE's Story

Roxanne is a quiet, cautious girl who’s learning to trust and enjoy life outside the shelter. She walks beautifully on leash, loves exploring the grass and sniffing around, and is starting to enjoy gentle pets and treats from people she knows. She knows sit and also appears to be housebroken, though we always caution that dogs who have lived in shelter kennels may need a refresher when you get them home. Though shy at first, she’s calm, well-mannered, and steadily gaining confidence every day. Roxanne would do best in a patient, loving home where she is the only dog so she can that will help her continue to blossom at her own pace.
