Rowlf's Story

This handsome guy was a stray at the city shelter euth listed, labeled rescue only for medical. He reportedly has a ruptured right cranial cruciate ligament (CCL). After we got him to the vet, it was found that he didn't have torn CCL but has luxating patella in both knees, and the overall compensation is causing an issue with his hips. He was unfortunately positive for heartworm.as well. Since being in foster care, Rowlf has been nothing but AMAZING!! He's very well mannered, loving, such a sweetheart.. and a very good BOY! I honestly think he is the perfect dog. I feel like I'm the lucky one to have been paired with him. He has gone through surgeries for his hips and knees, and heartworm treatments. He is dog selective and prefers dogs a different color than him.
