You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Rowen came to us on 4/23/2022 from our friends at the Rescue Network after he was rescued from a reservation in South Dakota. He's now a long term resident who's been overlooked, which is a shame. Having been with us for so long, one of our volunteers was curious about his breed mix and decided to find out with a dog DNA test. He's a pit bull mix with about a quarter of German shepherd and his appearance does hint at these results. He's a big boy who's aged out of puppyhood, but is still a lot of fun and likes to play hard. Rowen loves people and would be a great walking/running companion. Rowen is fully vetted and his $125 adoption fee is sponsored.

Rowen is doing really well with basic training but does forget his manners sometimes. He needs someone who is willing and able to provide him with the exercise he needs, along with consistent training and boundaries. He is strong and active. He's a happy and outgoing dog with a slight mischievous streak that is kinda endearing. Cats? Most likely a no for him. He's looking for an adult only home. Teens are fine. He will require regular exercise to keep him happy and well balanced.

We are located at 101 22nd St. SE in Austin, right next to the airport. It's exit 180B off of I-90, right off of 218 South.

We do require that potential adopters be at least 21 years old and that any resident dogs be up to date on vaccinations, heartworm testing/preventative, and spayed or neutered.
