Rowdy's Story

Meet Rowdy – A Three-Legged Ball of Energy and Fun! Rowdy is a 3-year-old black and silver German Shepherd with a larger-than-life personality and a heart just as big as his 104-pound frame. Often described as the German Shepherd version of the cartoon character Marmaduke, Rowdy brings joy, laughter, and a whole lot of motion wherever he goes.

Despite missing his right back leg due to an injury as a puppy, Rowdy doesn’t let anything slow him down. This tripod boy is impressively agile, full of bounce, and always ready for his next adventure. In fact, you might forget he only has three legs—until he zooms past you chasing a toy!

Speaking of toys, Rowdy loves to chase them… retrieving, however, is optional in his world. Once he’s off, he’s already onto his next mission. His high energy means he’ll thrive in a home that can keep up with his playful spirit, and his strong food motivation makes him a great candidate for continued training and enrichment.

Rowdy does best in a home without cats, but he gets along well with other large dogs and would be happiest with older kids who can handle his size and enthusiasm. He’s looking for a family that appreciates his goofy charm, embraces his active lifestyle, and is ready for a loyal companion who will keep life exciting.

If you’re searching for a resilient, fun-loving dog with a unique story and an unforgettable personality, Rowdy just might be your perfect match.

-------------------
Our Adoption Fees:
-------------------

*Dogs and puppies 12 months old or younger: $450

* Adult dogs over 12 months of age: $400

* Senior dogs over 7 years of age qualify for our "Seniors FUREVER" program!
