Rowdy's Story

Rowdy is just a kid, trying to figure life out. He was picked up running loose with another dog clear back in October, and has been at the pound ever since.

It's clear he hasn't had much training and he can definitely act a bull in a china shop, but he's making so much progress! His leash walking skills are getting better thanks to a new harness and he's learning his commands.

Rowdy is open to meeting kids and female dogs or submissive male dogs. He can be a bit of a butthead to the other dominant males at the pound, and we think he'd want to be the pack leader. He reacted well towards the cat he was tested with, and we think he could learn to live with a cat if he learns boundaries.

Being around Rowdy makes us happy. Yes, he's obnoxious, but he's a GOOD dog and has so much potential. If you'd like to add him to your family, we'd love to introduce you!
