Rover's Story
Help!!! We're very overcrowded and are running out of space for all our adoptable dogs! Please come adopt today. Find our hours/location at www.SacCountyShelter.net

Rover is a handsome and smart dog. He is a big boy at an estimated 75-85 pounds. We also estimate Rover is about 3 years old. He's a bit shy at first but you'd never know it after a few minutes. He's eager to meet new humans and go play. Rover loves ear scratches and sitting by your side. He's showing signs of being housetrained but all shelter dogs need a week or two of your patience while you learn each other's routines. Rover is just now learning to walk on a leash, and he is happy to show the command "Sit" for treats. Rover seems to like other dogs and we can test him with cats. He's ready to get out of his kennel so you may see him barking at the shelter, but trust us, he's quiet once he gets out. Find him in kennel D 97 in the Auggie Doggie room.
