Meet Roux — 16 Years Young & Still Full of Life<br/><br/>At 16 years old and 50 pounds, Roux never expected to be looking for a home again.<br/><br/>For most of her life, Roux had a person and a place where she belonged. Sadly, when her owner passed away, everything she knew changed. Now, this sweet senior girl is hoping someone will give her the one thing every dog deserves: a soft place to land for the rest of her days.<br/><br/>And don’t let 16 fool you—Roux still has some pep in her step! She loves wandering around, going for walks, and keeping tabs on what everyone is doing. But her absolute favorite place? Right beside her person. Give her a comfy spot near you and Roux is perfectly content to settle in and enjoy the good life.<br/><br/>She gets along with almost all of the dogs around her and has proven herself to be such an easygoing lady that she’s even earned her kennel-free privileges. At this point, Roux has put in 16 years of being a good girl—she thinks she’s earned a little freedom. <br/><br/>Roux is current on her veterinary care and ready for her next chapter.<br/><br/>She isn’t asking for much. A cozy bed. Some leisurely walks. A person to follow around. A sunny spot for a nap.
