Our delightful, sunny faced brindle girl has in her own way made a wonderful, huge splash on us all. Arriving a little shy as a stray, she's totally blossomed and has come into her own and what a gal she is! We have her nicely rooming with another pup and oh, the fun the two of them have. Rosita is great on the leash, soft and snuggly and she's cool if you wish to tote her around. Recently, Fox Carolina interviewed her of site at our biggest fundraiser of the year and she rocked it out. Even with plenty of action and activity going on, she was cool and relaxed and had the best time in wrestling and playing with Tyson (1 yr old bully mix) as the 2 of them each waited to be summoned for their live tv spot. Rosita is a certified sweetheart through and through and would love nothing better than for you to please ask about her. Facebook Update Oct 29: Cutie pie ROSITA is in foster and rocking it out! Our 7mos old, 25lbs love bug is smaller and more compact in stature and has the biggest heart! Recall she was on FoxCarolina News about 2 weeks aog and she was so brave and awesome! Still in the need of a home, please read her foster update below and then let us know when you'd like to meet her!! Foster Update: She has adjusted so well! she’s extremely friendly with everyone and their dogs, she loves going on walks and cuddling with us . She loves her quiet time and blankets, she's always full of energy! she is now crate trained and we're still working on potty training her but she's a fast learner. She can come off as skittish at first but once she warms up to you she the sweetest.

Oconee Humane Society (OHS) is available for adoptions and the purchase of Spay/Neuter certificates Monday - Friday from 10:00am to 5:00pm and Saturday from 10:00am to 2:00pm. We request transactions be completed 30 minutes prior to closing. Cats are a available for $75. Dogs are available for $85.
