Rosita's Story

Meet Rosita!
Rosita is a smart, playful, and affectionate girl

who's ready to charm her way into your home and heart. She's currently potty-trained, though still learning to signal when it's time to go outside-she's making great progress with positive reinforcement!

Training & Skills:
Rosita is a quick learner and knows lots of commands including "sit," "down," "wait," "come," "paw," "touch," "leave it," and "look." She's working on loose leash walking and doing great! Highly food-motivated (especially for salmon treats or crunchy chicken chips), she also enjoys puzzle toys, sniff mats, and Kong balls that challenge her brain and keep her busy.

Personality & Play:
This girl LOVES to play! She enjoys fetch and is a big fan of her jolly ball. She gets along wonderfully with other dogs-particularly those her size-and is full of energy for play sessions and running around. Rosita is also very affectionate and adores belly rubs and cuddle time.

Social Skills:
Rosita is friendly with people and loves to make new friends. She's still learning not to jump up when she's excited and may nip at clothing when overstimulated-but she responds well to training and gentle redirection. She's good with kids, though she should be monitored around younger ones as her excitement sometimes gets the best of her.

Lifestyle & Routine:
Rosita is crate-trained and currently enjoys a very active lifestyle-about 3 hours of walk/run time daily plus an hour of independent play. She would thrive with an active adopter who can match her energy and continue her training journey.

If you're looking for a bright, eager-to-please pup who's equal parts cuddly and fun, Rosita might just be your perfect companion! (KH)

Rosita weighs 37 pounds.
