Hi I'm Rosie! I am estimated at 2 years old and absolutely love all the humans I've met at the rescue. I've had a difficult past, but I know my future is bright and my new family will come and find me soon! I landed in the county shelter about a year ago very underweight and with a severe skin condition that had caused me to lose my fur and deal with a lot of discomfort. It has taken my rescue quite some time to help me recover from that condition and resolve my skin issues, but my rescue says I'm now ready to find a forever family! I'm so very excited for this next chapter in my life in a comfy, safe home with people who love me. After working with several vets, my rescue has determined that being on a fish based food and taking a specific supplement keeps my skin condition under control. 1) Submit application 2) Application is reviewed for completeness and assigned to an adoption coordinator 3) Adoption coordinator verifies critical information on the application, contacts references and ensures that the requested animal is a good fit for the family 4) Adoption coordinator, in conjunction with rescue management, approves or denies application 5) Upon notification of approval, an adoption coordinator works with foster and adopter to set up an adoption appointment to bring your new family member home! We strive to work through adoption applications as soon as we can. We are 100% volunteer-based so it can take a day or two to complete the review. This also depends on the response time of your references. Should you change your mind or adopt a different animal after submission, please inform us so we do not spend unnecessary time on your application.
