Rosie's Story
Please share Rosie’s story. She’s been in our rescue for a year. ?

Hi there! I’m Rosie, a 17 month old shepherd/cur mix princess weighing 55 lbs. I’m here because I’m looking for my forever home. So if you’re looking for fun, happiness and kisses, here I am! ?

Let me tell you a little bit about my journey. My sister and I were given away to someone who tossed us in his backyard where we grew hungry, thirsty, and overall neglected. We were in that backyard starving, rain or shine, with only each other to keep company. That was until one day, a lady visited our “owner” and saw us and was immediately heartbroken at the sight of us looking as malnourished as we did. This kind lady gave us water and food and promised to find us help. So fast forward, here we are living our best lives with our foster mommy Nancy, our tummies are always full with delicious food and treats, and we have comfy kennels filled with our favorite blankies and toys.

I have plenty of friends to play with in my foster home. I’m always playing with my sister, Ruby, and my foster siblings; I get along well with big and small dogs. I love to run with them outside because they’re full of energy like me. I’m also good with my foster mom’s friends when they visit her. Though I am a little timid at first, they offer me a treat and I can’t help but give them thousands of kisses. My favorite thing to do is sunbathe because I get to see the bright, sunny days that remind me of how grateful I am to be here and tell my story.

?Confession time: I'm a pup with a secret passion - VEGGIES! ? I know, I know, it's ruff for a dog to love greens, but I just can't help myself! Show me a cucumber or some cabbage, and I'll be drooling all over the place! Mmm... ? Just don't tell my sister Ruby, or she'll try to steal my snacks! ?
I mean, have you seen my figure? It's paws-itively stunning! How do I maintain it? By fighting Ruby for the last carrot stick, of course!

My foster mom said since I’m an expert on having fun with my inmesurable happiness and energy, I deserve plenty of toys and space to play. I know my special person is out there waiting on me to have fun and give me that happy life I deserve. When I find that person, I’ll give them a lots of kisses, infinite love, and loyalty. Would you like to be that person??

Apply for Rosie below:

Texas application:
https://form.jotform.com/CLMR/TXAdoptApp

Out of state application:
https://form.jotform.com/CLMR/oos-adoptionapplication
