<p>This gorgeous girl was abandoned at the Hempstead Shelter right after Hurricane Sandy and no one ever claimed her. We decided to pull her and bring her to our shelter where we are hoping she will find a wonderful home. She is very mellow and her little nub tail is always wagging!</p><br/><p><br /><br />Please <a href="http://www.spca914.org/forms/dogadopt2012.doc">fill out an application</a> if you'd like to jumpstart the adoption process. No appointment is necessary to come in and meet/adopt an animal unless noted differently above. Otherwise, you may come in anytime, no appointment needed to meet/adopt one of our animals! You may also fill out an application when you get here. Please note, we do NOT hold animals, nor do we accept deposits in advance. Even if you have discussed coming in to meet an animal or have an approved application with us, this does not necessarily guarantee you will get that particular puppy or dog as you must always meet the animal(s) you are interested in before being fully approved to adopt. Also note, even if approved to adopt from us, if you have a dog at home they MUST meet the dog(s) you are interested in adopting from here to ensure they get along before you can officially adopt. All&nbsp;Dogs and puppies&nbsp;are spayed/neutered, microchipped, vaccinated (age appropriate) and come with a free 7 day Vet check from a participating Vet! Our hours are Monday-Saturday 10am-4pm and Sunday's 1pm-4pm. High Kill Shelter/Southern Rescues, both Puppies and Adults are $325, All Puppies are $325 and Local Stray Adults over 1 year of age are $175.
