Meet Rosie 🐾💖<br/><br/>Rosie has opinions about her current accommodations at the shelter--mainly that ⏰ 30 minutes a day with people is simply not enough. This loving little girl lives for human attention and lets you know it with full-body wiggles 💃🐕 the moment she sees you. She's one of those pitties people lovingly call a "house hippo" 🦛... though right now she's more of a skinny hippo.<br/><br/>Rosie came to us from a humane case 🚨 where she wasn't living her best life and was left underweight. The good news? 🎉 She tested negative for heartworm ❤️🦟 and Lyme, has been dewormed, and is now on a regular feeding schedule 🍽️--just waiting for groceries and love to work their magic. She currently weighs 24 lbs ⚖️ but should be closer to 30 once she's fully healthy.<br/><br/>Rosie enjoys running around the yard 🏃‍♀️🌿 and playing, but she's just as happy being your cuddle buddy 🤗💞. She has done well meeting dogs of various sizes and breeds 🐕🐕‍🦺 and gets along with both male and female dogs. Leash walking is still a work in progress 🦮 (straight lines are optional, apparently 😂), but she's eager to learn--especially if treats are involved 🦴😋.<br/><br/>Affection 💕 and food 🍖 are currently tied for her favorite things in the world. Rosie is shorter than most people's knees 🦵, full of joy 🌈, and ready to be someone's constant companion.<br/><br/>Rosie has received age-appropriate vaccines 💉, flea & tick treatment 🪲, tested negative for heartworm and Lyme ✅, is on heartworm prevention 🛡️, microchipped 📍, and will be spayed ✂️ and receive her rabies vaccine before adoption.<br/><br/>Rosie is ready for a real home 🏡--one where love means being close to her people 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦, full bowls 🍲, and lots of cuddles 🤍🐾.<br/><br/>Rosie's adoption fee is $225.
