Rosie's Story

Update from Rosie’s foster:

"Meet Rosie. 6 months and 20 pounds of pure fun. She’s smart, playful well mannered and knows how to have a good time with any dog or human. She has no biases when it comes to doggie friends- big, small, long hair, short hair, black, white, tan, spotted- she will play with anyone! Her tug of war game is serious. Don’t expect to win just because she is on the smaller side. She will show you up! She loves her people once you’ve given her time and appropriate space to warm up to you. "

Rosie is a soft-hearted girl with a quiet charm and just the right amount of sass. Rosie spent her early weeks living outdoors with her mama and siblings before eventually making her way into a shelter and then into our rescue program. Since then, she’s been learning what safety, consistency, and love truly feel like.
Rosie can be shy at first, but once she trusts her people, she forms deep bonds and shows her affectionate, playful personality. She’s doing wonderfully in foster care and continues to gain confidence every day. While she has a mellow side, she also has a fun, sassy streak that keeps her foster family smiling.

Rosie loves playing with other dogs and has been well socialized. She does well with kids, though because she can be a little sensitive and reserved initially, we think she would thrive best in a home with children over the age of 8.
Rosie is not a fit for homes with cats or livestock.

Her mama is believed to be a Heeler mix around 35 pounds, while dad is unknown. Rosie’s date of birth is estimated to be around November 2025.
Rosie is looking for a patient, loving family who will continue helping her blossom into the confident girl she’s meant to be.

Apply to adopt:
https://rubiesandrogues.com/pages/placement-application

Adoption fee $300 (includes vetting) see here for specifics: https://www.facebook.com/share/p/

Our socials and additional links:
https://linktr.ee/rubiesandrogues
