Rosie's Story

Update from Rosie’s foster:

"Meet Rosie. 6 months and 20 pounds of pure fun. She’s smart, playful well mannered and knows how to have a good time with any dog or human. She has no biases when it comes to doggie friends- big, small, long hair, short hair, black, white, tan, spotted- she will play with anyone! Her tug of war game is serious. Don’t expect to win just because she is on the smaller side. She will show you up! She loves her people once you’ve given her time and appropriate space to warm up to you. "

Meet Rosie! 💖

At 6 months old and around 20 pounds, Rosie is the perfect mix of fun, brains, and personality. She’s playful, smart, well-mannered, and always ready for a good time.

Rosie has never met a dog she didn’t want to be friends with. Big dogs, small dogs, fluffy dogs, spotted dogs — she truly has no preferences when it comes to canine companions. If someone is willing to play, Rosie is all in. And while she may be on the smaller side, don’t underestimate her tug-of-war skills… this girl fully intends to win.

Once Rosie has a little time and space to warm up, she becomes incredibly loving with her people. She thrives with patient humans who understand that trust is earned, and once you’re in her circle, you’re there for life. She’s currently spending time with our friends at Devoted Dog Care and has been doing wonderfully there, but what Rosie would really love is a family of her very own. She's well socialized there!

Rosie is both potty trained and crate trained, giving her an excellent head start for her future home. Her ideal family would include older children who can respect her space while she settles in, and she would absolutely love another playful dog buddy to wrestle and zoom around with.

No cats for Rosie, please.

If you’re looking for a fun-sized best friend with personality for days and enough love to fill your home, Rosie may just be your perfect match.

Apply to adopt:
https://rubiesandrogues.com/pages/placement-application

Adoption fee $300 (includes vetting through our program) see here for specifics: https://www.facebook.com/share/p/16xaqyrjYF/

Follow along on socials:
https://linktr.ee/rubiesandrogues
