Rosie's Story
Rosie is a 9-week-old shepherd mix, in foster in Alpine, with a soft, sweet personality and a heart that just needs a moment to feel safe. She can be a little shy when she first meets new people or settles into a new space, but give her a bit of patience and calm reassurance, and her loving, playful side comes right out. In her foster home, she warmed up in just a few days and has been a total sweetheart ever since.

Rosie is learning the puppy basics and is already pretty good at letting you know when she needs to go outside. She sleeps in a kennel at night like a good girl, and one of her cutest habits is offering her paws when she wants attention. Once she feels comfortable, she enjoys playtime and shows her playful, happy puppy energy.

Rosie would likely do well in most homes, especially with someone who can offer a calm environment, a little patience at the beginning, and lots of encouragement as she builds confidence. If you’re looking for a tender-hearted puppy who blossoms into a playful cuddle-bug once she feels safe, Rosie is going to steal your heart.

Thank you for considering an OTAT-WTX rescue! All pets are living in foster homes, spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up to date on core vaccines.

If you are interested in adopting, or for more information, please visit our website: https://otatwtx.org/how-to-adopt
