ROSIE's Story
Rosie has been waiting far too long for her happappy ending.

Rosie's story is just as heartbreaking as Dakota's. At only four months old, she was dumped from a car at Volunteer ARF. The car drove away, and poor Rosie had no idea what was happening. She was just a baby.

Since that day, Rosie has grown up here at ARF. She has watched countless dogs arrive, find loving families, and leave for their forever homes. Yet somehow, Rosie is still waiting for her turn.
She keeps herself entertained by splashing and playing in her water bowls—she absolutely loves water! With her fun-loving personality and high energy, she'd be the perfect companion for an active family that enjoys adventures, hiking, walks, or even trips to the lake. At 45-50 pounds, she's a bigger girl with an even bigger heart.

Rosie has the sweetest, most expressive face. She loves going for walks, but what she really dreams about is walking out the ARF doors one last time, hopping into a car, and heading home with her forever family.

Rosie is not a good fit for a home with cats, and her enthusiasm can sometimes be a little much for lower-energy dogs.

She would thrive as the only pet or with another dog her size who matches her playful, energetic spirit.

We truly believe Rosie will be easy to train with consistency, patience, and daily guidance. She wants so badly to please the people she loves.

One person failed Rosie by throwing her away as if she didn't matter. We refuse to let that define the rest of her life. We love this beautiful girl, and we know her family is out there somewhere.

If you think Rosie might be the missing piece in your family, please don't hesitate to submit an application.

We'd love to schedule a meet-and-greet and introduce you to this incredible girl.

If you're looking for a fun, energetic, affectionate companion who will keep you smiling,

Rosie is your girl. And as an added bonus, if there's water nearby, she'll be the first one splashing in it! We think she's destined to be a true water dog.

While we're not certain of her exact breed, we believe she's a terrier mix, possibly with Border Collie or Labrador Retriever mixed in. Whatever her breed may be, one thing is certain: the mix that makes up her soul is absolutely beautiful—vibrant, resilient, and overflowing with love.

Rosie has waited long enough. Now all she needs is someone to choose her.

Adoption fee is $100

How to Adopt a Dog from ARF
Animal Rescue of Fresno is a Volunteer Managed & Operated Dog Rescue.
We are available by Appointment Only.
Adoptions begin with an Approved Application you can find the application at our website at www.arf-fresno.com

Application can be found in the drop-down menu above, click "ADOPT"
Mobile users click three lines at top of page to see "ADOPT"
Business Hours: By Appointment Only

We will review each submitted application, then contact the approved adopter via email.
