Rosie's Story

Rosie is an adorable Terrier Mix, 5 years old and weighs about 18 lbs. Her previous owner left her tied up at the Shelter door. An advocate reached out to ask if we could help, we were happy to take her into our group. She seems to LOVE everyone she meets and loves to cuddle. She is adjusting well in her Foster home. We are working with her on some separation anxiety and house training, she is making good progress. Rosie gets along with other dogs with proper introduction. She is reactive on leash towards other dogs which we believe is a fear response, so we are working with her on that behavior. If you are interested in adopting an Adopt Me Rescue dog, please visit our website and fill out our adoption application www.adoptmerescue.org. We review each application and pick the most suitable situation for each dog. WE DO REQUIRE A HOME-CHECK and you must be at least 21 years of age to adopt a dog from our organization. All our dogs are Vet-checked, neutered/spayed, vaccinated and micro-chipped prior to adoption. There is an adoption fee and e-mail us with the dogs name and we can tell you how much their adoption fee is. Remember we are a non profit and all adoption fees are tax deductible.
