ROSIE's Story

Rosie is a delightful, playful and affectionate young dog (around a year old). She was found in a crate with her three pups in a yard. Her pups (Max, Lila and Hudson also available) were around 10 days old.

She has recently been spayed and is ready to move to her forever home. When she came to her foster home she didn’t appear to know how to be a dog but over the past 6 weeks has really come a long way. She is about 90% housetrained and should, once away from her pups be housetrained in no time. Knows her name (came without any that we knew about) and is good with children and other dogs. We aren’t sure how she is with cats.

She is very attentive to her foster mom and tries to be the center of attention, so she might do well in an environment where she is the only dog in the house. She is good in the car and does great on a leash. She does not like being left in a crate (not sure how long she was locked in the one she was found in). Because she is a poodle she is hypoallergenic and would be a wonderful addition to a workplace.

Rosie becomes very bonded to people and is not a good candidate to be left alone for long periods.

She is around 12 pounds.
