Rosie's Story

Rosie is an almost 5-month-old terrier mix who has already proven herself to be a very adaptable and social young dog — she does well with dogs, children, and even cats, which is a combination many families are hoping to find!

Rosie weighs about 20 pounds right now and has looong legs that make her look like she’s still figuring out how to grow into them. She has a playful, curious personality and enjoys exploring the world around her.

One of Rosie’s most charming features is her adorable coat. She is black and white with little wiry hairs throughout, giving her a scruffy terrier look. She is even starting to develop a bit of a beard, which only adds to her character. We have labeled her as a terrier mix, but her exact breed combination is anyone’s guess.

Rosie would likely enjoy having another playful dog in the home, as she loves to romp and interact with canine friends. At the same time, she is also a very affectionate puppy who enjoys being close to her people. When it’s time to relax, she happily curls up and snuggles right in.

Her foster family reports that Rosie is doing well with housebreaking, is comfortable in a crate, and rides nicely in the car. Please note that Rosie is not located at the shelter and is currently living in a foster home.
