Rosie's Story

Rosie is a precious girl already here and looking forward to a brand-new rosy life! If interested in adopting, fostering, or fostering to adopt please fill out an application here http://www.bestfriendsforlifeanimalrescue.com/ Rosie you're my lucky charm When you're in my arms I'm happy as can be Oh Rosie, every time we meet My heart skips a beat I'm happy to repeat Oh Rosie Oh RosieYou are the one - from 'Rosie' by Chubby Checker Rosie is a beautiful 4 year old Shepherd mix who comes to us from a shelter in Kansas. She's still a bit thin and needs to gain a little weight. Her ideal weight will be around 55 to 60 lbs. We don't know the circumstances of her surrender to the shelter but we do know she never had the comfort of living inside and it appears some neglect may have been involved. Regardless of her past, Rosie has not lost her capacity to love. Rosie is already crate trained, doing well with leash training, and currently going through house training. She is very sweet and loves attention. Rosie is good with other dogs but has not been around cats. She certainly is enjoying learning how to be a well loved indoor girl. She did well on her road trip from Kansas to CT so we can say she is well traveled. Rosie is already spayed, up to date on all vaccinations, current on preventatives, and micro chipped. This precious girl is waiting to start her happily ever after life in a wonderful loving forever home with a great family. She's waiting to meet the ones who will meet her and say 'Rosie, you're the one!'
