We’ll have several wonderful dogs there looking for homes!<br/><br/>________<br/><br/>Meet ROSCOE! Roscoe’s story will absolutely melt your heart. This sweet, loyal boy had a person who loved him more than anything — they were truly the best of friends. Sadly, his owner passed away, and now Roscoe is looking for a new family to love. Through it all, he’s stayed gentle, patient, and full of love to give. <br/><br/>Roscoe is a big, cuddly teddy bear who’s carrying a little extra love around the middle (he’s 103 lbs of pure sweetness!). He knows he’s got a few pounds to lose and is ready to trim down — a few walks and maybe slightly fewer treats should do the trick. <br/><br/>Roscoe’s Likes <br/>• Walks and outdoor time<br/>• Spending quiet time with his people<br/>• Other friendly dogs<br/>• Living with cats<br/>• Calm, adult-only households<br/><br/>If you’re looking for a gentle, goofy, and loyal companion to share your days with, Roscoe is ready to be your new best friend — and walking buddy! <br/><br/>Roscoe is a 7 year old Lab mix that weighs 103 lbs. He is kennel trained and house trained.<br/><br/><br/>ADOPTING A PET<br/>We are open for meet and greet adoptions at our shelter on weekends. No appointment is necessary for weekend adoptions. Our weekend hours vary and we also have satellite adoption events every weekend. Please contact us by phone at 913-321-1445 or by email at petadoptions@kckpd.org to schedule your appointment during weekdays.<br/><br/>If you have a dog or children we ask that you bring them with you to meet our dogs to make sure it is a good match.<br/><br/>Our dogs have been spayed or neutered, vaccinated, dewormed, microchipped and tested for heartworms (if 7 months or older).<br/><br/>FOSTERING<br/>Can't commit to adoption but still want to help us save lives?
