Roscoe - 663 Chihuahua & Dachshund Mix Dallas, TX

Roscoe is about 9 years old and weighs 10 pounds. He was originally surrendered by his owners, but we have no idea why because he is sooooo very sweet. He likes people and will literally give hugs by wrapping his front legs around your neck. It is really amazing. He likes to ride in the car, but wants to sit as close as he can to his human. Roscoe gets along well with other dogs and also likes to play with toys. One of his favorite things is to snuggle under a nice, warm blanket. Please note that because Roscoe has such tiny bones, we do not recommend him to families with children under 5.

We are a RESCUE GROUP, not a shelter, and all of our animals are in foster homes. To start the adoption process, email us at adoptions@earstexas.org requesting an application. Submitting an application does not commit you in any way, but helps us make the best match between people and our available dogs. Your current or past dogs must be inside dogs who have been spayed/neutered and are on heartworm prevention.

All of the dogs in our program are inside dogs and are completely vetted including all vaccinations, spayed/neutered, free of internal parasites, microchipped, heartworm negative and on prevention before adoption. Our adoption process includes an application, check of vet records or personal references, interview, neutral site meet & greet with the dog and your family, and a home visit.
