Roscoe's Story

Old man Roscoe was secured while his previous family attempted to abandon him in a dilapidated house. :( Thankfully a stranger saw what was happening and swooped in to help Roscoe. This charming senior spent a few days at the ER getting stabilized from acute vestibular disorder, and is now in a temporary foster home, waiting for your application! Roscoe is deaf, visually impaired and pretty old - and comes with the most adorable half-grumpy/half-grateful personality! Roscoe likes to ponder and nap on different dog beds around the house. He enjoys the company of other dogs, they just need to not knock him over. Roscoe isn't asking for much! A warm bed, some company, breakfast and dinner... and perhaps a Manhattan every once in a while for a nightcap.

Adopt a senior!! They are so deserving and EASY!!!

Rebel Dogs Detroit's Adoption Policy
We want to help you find your best friend! Rebel Dogs Detroit is committed to making dog adoption more accessible and attractive to the Detroit community. Our adoption fee for adult dogs is $275-$325, and $325-$400 for puppies. That said, we do have a sliding scale adoption fee for those below the poverty line who are interested in adopting an adult pitbull mix. We ask you apply for the dog/puppy on our website first and foremost. Once we receive your application, we will contact you with questions and/or set up a time to interview you. The next step is a meeting between you and the dog. If that goes well, and you wish to follow through with the adoption, you can do so at that point. Our commitment to you and your new companion doesn't end with the adoption. If you ever need help in the future to keep your dog healthy and happy, you can always reach out. We will do everything in our power to help you and your pooch! We appreciate you opening up your home and your hearts, and know that it is a large, long-term responsibility.
