Roscoe's Story
Roscoe is a 10-year-old boy who doesn't look or act like a senior. Â He
came to us when his previous family situation changed and he needed a new
place to hang his hat. Â With his long, low slung body, he may have some basset in his background.

He is quite the gentleman with great house manners. He uses a doggie door. Â
He gets along well with the beagle pack in his foster home, but would do very
well as an only dog. Â Â He loves to play with his toys and will even occasionally bring back a stuffed toy when thrown. He loves going for walks, but is known to bark at other dogs on street. Â He loves going for car rides and will snuggle in bed with his human, if
allowed. Â He is a low-maintenance, lovable boy who will bring lots of joy to
his forever home. Â Â

If you are interested in adopting one of our dogs, THE FIRST STEP is to complete our adoption questionnaire. Please visit our website at www.HoustonBeagleRescue.org and follow the instructions on adoption. Our regular adoption fee is $275; mixes are $200; special needs and senior dogs are $175; pups under 8 months are $300. The fee includes the spay/neuter, the vaccines, flea and heart worm preventative/treatment, a new leash/ collar/ rescue ID tag, microchip, and some training. Some dogs may have had additional vet care such as orthopedic surgeries, heart worm treatment or other procedures, but these extras will not affect their adoption fee. Donations to help with vetcare are always welcomed!
