Roscoe's Story

Ok where are our senior dog people? Please meet Roscoe P Coltrane. Roscoe is 10yrs YOUNG - let me say that again 10 yrs YOUNG. This boy is happy, energetic, and strong. Age is only a number to him. He has come to us through our partnership with the Ashtabula Dog Warden and now hoping to find a not so senior retirement home. He is heart worm negative, up to date on his vaccines and will be neutered as part of his adoption. Roscoe is believed to be a Terrier Mix who will need help learning how to ride in a car - he is not a fan. Unfortunately, Roscoe was adopted and returned to us. It was discovered that a fenced yard is not going to keep Roscoe secure. He will need to be supervised and not left alone in the yard. No small dogs in the household with Roscoe. A meet and greet is required. Roscoe is a very deserving young man who would love to help you explore the world one leap at a time

Our Mission

The Geauga County Dog Shelter takes in stray dogs throughout Geauga County. By law we have to hold a dog three business days - or 72 hrs - before we are able to adopt them into new loving homes.
