Ok where are our senior dog people? Please meet Roscoe P Coltrane. Roscoe is 10yrs YOUNG - let me say that again 10 yrs YOUNG. This boy is happy, energetic, and strong. Age is only a number to him. He has come to us through our partnership with the Ashtabula Dog Warden and now hoping to find a not so senior retirement home. He is heart worm negative, up to date on his vaccines and will be neutered as part of his adoption. Roscoe is believed to be a Terrier Mix who will need help learning how to ride in a car - he is not a fan. We do not know about other dogs, cats, or kids but are very happy to learn with you. Roscoe is a very deserving young man who would love to help you explore the world one leap at a time

We are a first come, first to adopt shelter. If you plan to come meet one of our adoptable dogs, we suggest that all family members come along, including the four legged ones.

The Geauga County Dog Shelter takes in stray dogs throughout Geauga County. By law we have to hold a dog three business days - or 72 hrs - before we are able to adopt them into new loving homes.
