ĀJust a teen at 11 mos of age, my book is wide open and as you'll see, I'm always pretty excitedĀto make new friends and get the party going. Ā It's been a busy time since my arrival. ĀI was invited to join in a doggyĀplay group where at first I kind of studied the cast of doggy characters, then in reaching my comfort level, ĀI dipped in and had the best time. ĀI've also been matched up with a roommate. Ā ĀShe's a lovely, larger hound and she's done an excellentĀjob showing me the ropes to better understand the shelter routine. ĀI crave human interaction and attention and at 54lbs, Āin my heart and in my actions, ĀI'm definitelyĀa lap dog! ĀYes, all 54lbs of me just might try to climb into your lap. ĀLOL. I could benefit from some guidance in theĀdoggy manner area so if you love teaching commands ie sit, stay, down, etc I would love to be your pupil to guide and mold into pet perfection. ĀROSCO<br/><br/>Facebook Update Dec 1: During our urgent rush to free up kennel space last week, Āwe could not have been more pleased to see ROSCO selected for fosterĀcare. ĀGosh, he needed a break. ĀAs you may recall, he was deterioratingĀright before our eyes and we had been pushing hard for him to find a safe spot off site. And he foundĀone.....but it's only temporary. ĀPLEASE keep ROSCO on your mind if you are in the market for a young at heart and on paper 4 legged friend. ĀWith plenty of love and energy to share/spare, Āa more active home and humans who can guide Rosco with rules/boundaries will no doubt bring out Rosco's best pet self! How rewarding would that be??? ĀNote: 1 yr old; 54lbs<br/><br/>Foster update: He's doing great. We spent the Āfirst day learning house rules. He took to them well. Then the next day being loved on. He took to that well obviously. ĀHe has an oral fixation. ĀSo pig skins and soft skin chews are your best friend with him. And he is also very very puppy. ĀSo he needs me to be more firm with him on all the rules. Someone must have not spent much time with him. Im sure that within a week or two he will be a completely different dog.
