Meet Rosco

Meet Rosco! Rosco's estimated birthday is 12/5/2017 and he weighs around 59 pounds. He was adopted and returned because he isn't good with small children or cats. He is a friendly boy, just needs some training on what he can and cannot do. He loves to sleep on his person's lap when tired. He's seriously the sweetest as he dreams! There are some dogs that he gets along with and some that he doesn't so it really depends on personality differences between the two dogs. Rosco was potty trained in his last home and stands at the door when he needs to go potty. Rosco needs a home where he gets plenty of physical and mental exercise. He will do best with one person as he bonds very strongly with one person in the home.

Rosco knows how to fetch and is doing very well at dropping the ball. He also knows a few commands such as sit, laydown, shake and roll over. He likes to play tug of war and loves belly rubs!

Approved applicants will be notified via email. Please check junk/spam folders for a response.

Rosco's adoption fee is $100! Adoption applications can be filled out at CCHS or online through our website, www.cchs-petshelter.org. Applications are not first come, first served. All applications will be reviewed by the adoption committee and the home chosen will be the one considered to be the best match. All dogs and puppies have been vaccinated for Distemper and Bordetella, dewormed and microchipped. If old enough, they will be vaccinated for Rabies and blood tested for Heartworm, Lymes, Anaplasmosis and Erlichiosis. Dogs and puppies will be spayed or neutered before adoption. CCHS is proud to be a No-Kill Humane Society. As a private, non-profit charity, our work depends on donations and volunteers to keep going. We are committed to helping the animals that enter our doors and finding each the best possible forever home. CCHS has been inspected and licensed by the Department of Animal Health - DATCP. Our license is #268235-DS
