Rosa OS NV PDR's Story
Big News: Rosa is basically a Tennis Ball Professional!
We have some incredible updates from Rosa's foster home! This 1-year-old, 50lb Lab mix is officially the life of the party. If you have a ball, you have a best friend for life. Rosa is a total athlete who lives for a good game of fetch, but here is the best part: she is a total team player!
Her foster reports that she shows absolutely no resource guarding with her toys. In fact, she's been happily taking turns with other dogs, waiting for her moment to catch the ball and showing off her social skills. When she finally hits her limit, she does the most adorable "sploot" with her back legs tucked out and a happy tongue hanging out while she recharges.
The Perfect Match for Rosa
While Rosa is a social butterfly on the field and loves every person she meets, she is still a "Work in Progress" when it comes to the dinner table. She has significant food aggression toward other dogs, so she needs a home where mealtimes are handled with structure. She can live with another dog if the owner is experienced in strict "separate room" feeding protocols, but she is also perfectly happy being your one-and-only four-legged child!
Because Rosa is a "bouncy" girl who expresses her excitement with jumps and the occasional puppy nibble, she is looking for an adult-only home. She's incredibly smart, food-motivated, and already has her "Sit" down pat. She just needs a yard to run in and a leader who will continue her training.
Rosa has been waiting for her forever home since November 2024, and she has so much love and "helicopter tail" wags to give. If you're looking for a smart, active, ball-obsessed companion to join your team, Rosa is ready to play!
