Rosa

Rosa came to the shelter after her owner passed away. No one in the family was willing or able to take her in.<br/><br/>She is very high energy and will need some understanding. She gets super excited to get out, as the kennel environment is very stressful. I think she is simultaneously under and over stimulated, and she REALLY likes fetch. She doesn’t know when to stop, but we’ve been working on taking breaks and drinking water. She will even dive in our pool to get her ball. <br/><br/>She comes to check in with you and to get reassurance and love. She is such a sweetie and I’m hoping to find someone who is experienced with very driven breeds. We believe she may be some kind of doberman mix. <br/><br/>She has gotten along with every dog she has met through the fence, except for one female. But she has done great with males and females alike. A meet and greet would obviously make sure her and any current dogs in your home would get a long. She will even lower herself to the ground for the smaller dogs. She would get super excited and she can jump quite high.<br/><br/>Rosa wasn’t well socialized with folks before her owner died, and little kids freak her out, so we think she would do best with older kiddos. <br/><br/>She is around two years old has been spayed and is up to date on all vaccines.
