RORY's Story
12/04/25 16:04 CA Meet Rory – A Resilient, Loving German Shepherd Puppy Looking for Her Forever Home! Rory is a 7-month-old German Shepherd who has been through a tough battle with puppy strangles (juvenile cellulitis)—but this brave girl is on the road to recovery! She’s currently on a prednisone taper and improving every day. She really likes to play! Fetch is her favorite game and she actually returns the ball back to you. She is currently living with two GSDs and matches their energy and play style. Rory is house-broken, crate trained and a velcro dog. Rory is looking for a foster-to-adopt home where she can continue her recovery while bonding with her future family. She still needs her rabies vaccine and spay, but she can start the search for her forever home now! A foster-to-adopt family would need to bring her to medical rechecks (weekly or biweekly, as needed) and later to her spay appointment when the time comes. Despite her health journey, Rory is an absolute sweetheart—a loving, loyal pup with so much potential. She’s eager to find a family that will support her through her final stages of healing and give her the wonderful life she deserves. If you’re interested in fostering-to-adopt Rory, please email sbcassouthfostercoordinator@gmail.com. Let’s find this amazing pup the perfect forever home.
