Meet Rooster! <br/><br/>This young, ridiculously handsome guy was found as a stray in Philly and brought to the local shelter. Luckily for Rooster, his amazing fosters scooped him up, and he settled into foster life like a total pro. We recently made it official and welcomed him into our rescue — and he hasn’t looked back!<br/><br/>Rooster is dog-friendly and does a wonderful job matching other dogs’ energy. Whether your pup loves to play or prefers to just hang out, Rooster reads the room (and the dog!) beautifully. He’d likely thrive in a home with a canine companion.<br/><br/>He’s extremely snuggly and has some very strong opinions about lounging in high places. We lovingly call him a “cat dog” because you’ll often find him perched on the back of the couch like royalty… or sneaking into a pile of clean laundry for the coziest nap imaginable <br/><br/>Rooster is also very smart and eager to please. He’s currently working on crate training and general manners, and he’s making great progress.
