Rook's Story

These five 7-month-old Cattle Dog mix puppies have spent the last five months in our training program alongside their wonderful mom after being rescued from a Houston animal shelter back in July. They’re now ready to find forever homes of their own!

Each pup has been trained to sleep overnight in a crate, knows basic obedience skills, and has had plenty of exposure to dogs, cats, and children. They’re social, smart, and full of personality — everything you could want in a companion. Expected adult weight: 40–50 lbs.

Confident, curious, and full of personality — Rook loves adventure and making new friends. He’s playful but also eager to please, making him a great fit for an active family ready to keep his bright mind engaged.

If you’re interested in adopting one of these friendly, furry babies, please send in an adoption application!
