Roo's Story

Roo is the quiet little heart of the group. A bit more shy and reserved than the others, Roo has a gentle, sweet nature that really shines once they feel comfortable. This soft-souled pup enjoys the company of other dogs and does great playing with canine friends.

When it comes to cats, Roo seemed more unsure than anything and actually acted a little afraid of the cat they met, so a respectful feline roommate would likely be just fine. There haven’t been any kids around Roo yet, so their behavior with children is unknown.

Roo is fully vetted and ready to find a patient, loving home where they can continue to build confidence and show just how sweet they truly are. With a little kindness and reassurance, Roo will blossom into a devoted companion who sticks close to their people.

Roo is being fostered in West Siloam Springs, OK,

Wilber's Rescue Foundation's Adoption Policy
We have an application that must be filled out. We will contact you within 24 hours to review your application verbally and answer any questions you may have about a potential pet. After that we schedule a meet and greet with potential families. If the vibes are good we proceed with a foster to adopt trial- ALL adoptable animals must go through a 2 weeks trial. This gives the adopting family 2 weeks to decide if it's the right fit and provides a 2 week respite for the foster family while also holding the pet's foster spot open incase it is not the right fit! If it is the right fit then at the end of the 2 weeks we will sign adoption contracts and have adoption fees paid.
