Roo's Story

Meet Roo!

Roo is about 1.5 years old, and medium sized. She is fairly high energy, as most cattle dogs are, and loves to play with everyone! She has a lot of enthusiasm for life, and would love to be your hiking partner, running buddy, or walking pal. She will chill out in the evening and hang with you on the couch if you get her energy out. She is generally a very friendly girl, but still has that streak of cattle dog in there. Her new family should be cattle dog savvy, and understand that cattle dogs love their people, and do best with getting their energy out each day, and have firm and consistent boundaries. A true cattle dog lover will really appreciate her!!

She is housebroken and crate trained, and learning to walk better on a leash. She is silly and hilarious and has a giant tongue!

Roo's adoption fee is $350 and covers that she is spayed, up to date on vaccines, dewormed, on heartworm and flea and tick prevention, and microchipped.

Roo is being fostered near Lebanon, Ohio - if you're interested, please email BuckeyeACDRescue@gmail.com for an application!
