Roo Pomeranian Mix Etobicoke, ON

Sweet man ‘Roo’ is an approx. 10 year old Pomeranian mix who is quick on his feet and loves jumping around – hence the name Roo, short for Kangaroo. He is housetrained (he is currently being walked every 4-5 hours and hold overnight), well-mannered and not a vocal dog. He is social with new people however he can be initially frightened and startle due to the fact he is vision and hearing impaired. He does not bite or snap but rather takes a few extra minutes to sniff and then approaches; often he will invite you to play with him. He especially enjoys playing with small dogs and is polite and respectful of bigger dogs, too. He loves going for out and about for walks and walks well on leash. He does tire easily and within about 20 minutes of walking he needs to have a break. He would be best suited for a home without young children/toddlers as he startles easily and jumps away; he does not like to be picked up but is starting to get more comfortable with it with his foster parents. He is a loving little dog who is looking for a nice retirement type home where he can relax, have naps, short outings and hopefully another little dog to play with. A very nice little chap who is in foster care in the Toronto area.
