Ronnie's Story

Beagle/boxer mix

4 1/2 - year-old

35 lbs.

Ronnie is a high energy beagle mix and loves to play. He is good with other dogs as he lives with a 13 year old Yorkie. Probably would need slower introductions

to new dogs. He'd do best with another energetic same size dog in the home. He's a confident dog, who thinks he's a big dog. He can be somewhat intimidated by much larger dogs.

He is house trained and also crate trained. He's been around kids so with proper introductions he should be fine with older kids. Due to his energy level, he may be too much for smaller kids.

Ronnie is good with new people he meets but can be somewhat cautious until he gets to know you.

Ronnie will require a fenced yard as he loves to chase squirrels and birds. He is working on leash training.

This little guy is just a big wiggle butt and happy to see his foster dad when he comes home from work.

Ronnie has recently graduated from the 12 Week Puppies for Parole training program offered through the Mo Department of Corrections. While in training he was taught basic obedience and socialization skills. He has learned various commands such as sit, stay, paw, heel, etc ... and has acquired his good canine citizen honor.

If you are interested, complete the
Adoption Application
on our website at
www.NeedyPaws.org
and we will contact you.

Adopters must live within an hour’s drive of St. Louis, MO.

Ronnie’s adoption fee is $295.00, which includes up-to-date vaccinations, heartworm testing and preventative, spay/neuter and microchip.

We are a 100% foster-based rescue and all of our dogs live in approved foster homes.
