Just like Harry Potter's loyal, loving bestie, I'm ready to be your sidekick. I'm a 5-year-old, 44-pound Labrador retriever mix. I was rescued from Azkaban... ahem, I mean the heartbreaking conditions of ESLR in Ensenada. It took more than a little magic to get me out, but I'm so excited to turn the page and find my furever family!<br/><br/>I'm searching for a loving witch, wizard, or muggle who will foster to adopt me. I have Cerebellar Hypoplasia, Meningoencephalitis. I'm also visually impaired and have some wonky balance, but none of that stops me from being a happy and playful boy. Due to my conditions, I'm not getting vaccines at this time, including oral flea/tick preventatives. I know this sounds like a lot, but I promise that I'm an easy-going guy who just wants to be loved! <br/><br/>I LOVE mealtime and do the cutest dance around the house. I also enjoy exploring new places, getting a lay of the land, and digging through my toy basket to find the perfect one to play with. I get along well with other dogs, cats, and kids. When I can't contain my excitement I can sometimes jump or get mouthy (I'm gentle and have dull teeth, don't worry!), but can be quickly redirected with pets or treats. I can't help it that I just want to say "hi" to every human I see! <br/><br/>I'm a well-behaved boy who benefits from a steady routine. I'm very good with my crate, bathroom, and leash training. I may take a little time to acclimate to my new environment but practice makes pawfect!<br/><br/>I would do best in a home that can provide me with routine and stability. I'm not necessarily the most affectionate or high-energy pooch, but I'm a great companion who is easy to be around. I've been through a lot, but I'm also extremely resilient and have settled nicely into being a pampered pup. I can't wait to meet you!<br/><br/>I am a TAP MEDICAL DOG.
