Romy's Story

Romy is approximately one-year-old. She is a mix of Poodle, Cocker Spaniel, and Miniature Schnauzer. She was found running through traffic in East LA. She had no collars or tags, and her coat was overgrown, matted, and infested with fleas and ticks. Despite her rough start, Romy has proven to be incredibly sweet and resilient.

Romy gets along well with other dogs, including large dogs, and loves everyone she meets. She is very people-oriented, affectionate, and quick to bond. Romy will be your best friend instantly, and won’t want to leave your side.

She is active and playful but not overly hyper, and she settles down nicely indoors after play. She love toys, especially balls.

Romy is house trained for the most part, but still occasionally has accidents indoors. She is making progress but just needs continued consistency and patience as she adjusts to a new environment.

Romy is now healthy, happy, and ready for the next chapter in a home where she can continue to thrive.
